Aqua Blue

Aqua Blue Normanville Beach is a beachside kiosk and restaurant just a short stroll from the park that offers a relaxing and enjoyable experience for locals and visitors alike. Whether you are looking for a quick bite, a refreshing drink, or a fine dining experience, Aqua Blue has something for everyone.

The kiosk is open from 7:30am to sunset every day, serving a variety of food, ice creams and drinks. You can enjoy your meal overlooking the beautiful Normanville Beach, or take it away and explore the nearby attractions. The kiosk also has license to serve alcohol.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring an extensive seafood menu that showcases the freshest and finest local produce. You can choose from a selection of dishes such as oysters, prawns, scallops, fish and chips, seafood platters, and more. The restaurant also has a wine list that complements the food, as well as a range of beers, cocktails, and soft drinks. The restaurant has elegant atmosphere, with stunning views of the ocean and the sunset.

Blowhole Beach

Blowhole Beach is a stunning ocean beach near the western edge of Deep Creek Conservation Park. You can walk 2 km to the beach from the Cobbler Hill carpark. Or if you have a four wheel drive vehicle you can drive down the steep track to the Blowhole Beach carpark. You can sometimes see dolphins in the surf and kangaroos nearby. The sandy beach is 200 m long and is in a steep valley. A creek crosses the beach and rocky headlands reach out at either end of the beach. Swimming can be hazardous because there is usually a strong rip which can sweep swimmers out to sea. You can also camp in the park and stay at cottages in the park and nearby. There is no camping at the beach. Check the website for maps, details and booking.

Deep Creek National Park

Come and experience a wide range of activities such as bushwalking on an extensive network of trails, camping in five campgrounds and viewing the spectacular scenery of Backstairs Passage, Kangaroo Island and the rugged Deep Creek valley. Deep Creek National Park is the largest portion of remaining natural vegetation on the Fleurieu Peninsula and is home to an array of native wildlife such as western grey kangaroos, short beaked echidnas and 100 species of birds that can be heard and seen while walking in the park. Deep Creek is the only national park within 100km of Adelaide that offers bush camping. Four campgrounds are accessible by 2WD and one is 'hike-in' only and situated on the Heysen trail, making it an ideal environment for a family adventure. The 15 walking trails in the park provide spectacular scenery of Backstairs Passage, Kangaroo Island and the rugged Deep Creek Valley. The walks range from easy to very difficult so accommodating for all ages and abilities. The walking trail network in Deep Creek National Park includes sections of the famous Heysen Trail.

Ingalalla Waterfalls

Open all year round, Ingalalla Falls is the perfect place to visit with the family, with picnic with tables dotted along the path to the falls. There are extended walks through the forest which are great for fitness. There are many shaded areas and in autumn the leaves of the deciduous trees provide a colourful backdrop to the trees in the pine forest. The rockpools and waterfall, which attract a variety of birdlife, are located a 250m walk from the car park. Accessible toilets available. Access to the upper falls is not recommended as it is steep and slippery.

Myponga Reservoir Reserve

Enjoy, explore, preserve Myponga Reservoir Reserve Nestled near the township of Myponga on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula, about an hour’s drive south of Adelaide, is the Myponga Reservoir Reserve. The trail here is ideal for walking and running with room for families to enjoy a picnic. You can also head to the lookout to take in the scenic surrounds. Head out on the water for a paddle in your canoe or kayak and explore the 250 hectares of water. Shore-based fishing is available within the publicly-accessible area of the reserve, or you can drop a line in from your canoe or kayak. Free car parking and toilet facilities are also available. Open 7.30am - 5pm (standard time), 7.30am - 8pm (daylight saving time). Closed on Total Fire Ban Days and for operational activity (gates will be closed).

Yankalilla Lion’s Youth Park

The Yankalilla Lions Youth Park offers an active and fun day out. The park has a large skate park, perfect for anyone with bikes, skateboards, scooters or roller skates. There is an 'access for all' designed playground, pump track, mini basketball court and an outdoor gym. The wheelchair friendly park has picnic areas, undercover free electric barbecue facilities with tables and seating. At the skate park and playground there is also seating to watch all the action. The park has a car park, toilets and a fully fenced play area.

Links Lady Bay Golf Course

No golfing trip to South Australia would be complete without a visit to The Links Lady Bay Golf Resort. Designed by golfing legends Jack Newton, Graeme Grant and John Spencer the Links Lady Bay has subtle bent greens and is a true St Andrews style sand based course that will not be seen elsewhere in South Australia. With stunning vistas from every hole overlooking the spectacular Fleurieu Coast beaches, you will be hard pressed to find another visually appealing course anywhere in Australia. Mark this down as a must do experience.
